Kinneret and Nazareth
Israel is a beautiful place for the nature lover and the tourists.
It is a great experience that no one should ever miss it.
Drive south to the Kinneret area. A visit to the church of mount Beatitudes with spectacular views of the while Kinneret. The beautiful church that was designed and built by Antonio Barluzzi, Franciscan church architect. We will continue to go down towards Tabgha which means seven springs and we will visit the church of Loaves and fishes – German Benedict Catholic church, the miracle in which Jesus fed 5,000 people with five breads and two fish.
Our next trip is to the hometown of Jesus in the Kinneret is Capernaum. Capernaum sun is an ancient customs station. This is the only place in the world with the slogan “the hometown of Jesus”. Here he lived, gathered his 12 apostles according to the new testament, began to preach, and done many miracles such as healing the in-law of St. Peter the fisherman, his successor. We will continue to Jordan, the baptism site. This is the closest experience of the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist. Short drive tour to Kibbutz Kinneret representing the kibbutz movement, that began in the region and the kibbutz was founded in 1910 and is one of the first kibbutzim in Israel.
Traveling through Galilee to Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus, here he lived 30 years according to the Christian faith.
